Midday, enjoy a leisurely lunch at a local café known for flavorful dishes in a warm, inviting atmosphere. After a leisurely lunch at a local favorite, which provides the perfect pause to savor regional flavors and relax before the afternoon continues.  The day concludes with a visit to a Hill Country winery, where you can savor thoughtfully crafted wines in a welcoming, relaxed setting—the perfect moment to reflect on the experiences of the day. We will visit four of our favorite thrift spots across Copperas Cove and Killeen, where the experience is all about the thrill of the hunt.  Each stop is a chance to dig, explore, and uncover something unexpected.

Along the way, we’ll keep things exciting with a few games, including thrift bingo, adding a little extra fun and friendly competition to the day.  About halfway through, we’ll pause for a quick lunch break to recharge before heading back out to continue the hunt for more surprise finds.

This is a relaxed, easy-going day filled with fun, laughter, and the excitement of discovering something unexpected at every stop.

Grace and Bloom begins in a burst of gold…an open sunflower field where guests are invited to wander among the blooms, cut their own stems, and carry a little piece of the day home.

In the afternoon, the experience continues in Marble Falls, where guests step into The Beloved Gallery, home to the exhibition Akiane: The Early Years.  The gallery features the childhood works of Akiane Kramarik, including the widely recognized Prince of Peace, created from her early spiritual visions and now presented as part of a collection on faith, love, and hope.

From there, the day flows into a relaxed lunch in the Hill Country, offering fresh, local flavors in a welcoming setting.

The journey continues with time on Main Street in Marble Falls, a charming area filled with small town boutiques and specialty shops.  Guests may browse handcrafted sweets at a local chocolate shop, sample local honey at Fain’s Honey, or visit the artisan cheese shop known for its regional selections and warm hospitality. By day’s end, Grace and Bloom feels true to its name…a graceful unfolding of color, place, and meaningful moments through the heart of Texas Hill Country.

Step back in time at Washington-on-the-Brazos, the Birthplace of Texas.  Walk the very grounds where delegates signed the Texas Declaration of Independence, explore the Barrington Living History Farm, and wander through the Star of Republic Museum and Independence Hall.
