But the fun doesn’t stop when we leave the stores! Along the way, we’ll keep the energy high with a game, laughs, and a little friendly competition. Get ready for our “Thrifty Feud” a Family Feud style thrift game on the bus and earn bragging rights as the ultimate Thrifty Thursday treasure hunter!

Halfway through the adventure, we’ll take a break for a quick lunch to recharge before jumping back on the bus and continuing the hunt for more bargains.

We're headed to Waco for a fun and memorable adventure that combines delicious tastes, beautiful craftsmanship, and a wonderful glimpse into a simpler time.

As we explore this unique village and farm, we'll wander through an amazing collection of working artisan shops and see skilled craftsmen doing what they do best. We'll discover the water-powered gristmill, basket shop, blacksmith shop, leather shop, pottery studio, woodworking shop, quilt store, cheese shop, and general store, each offering something different to see and enjoy. We'll have plenty of time to browse, discover handcrafted treasures, satisfy our sweet tooth at the chocolate factory, peek into the cheese cave, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of the tearoom and coffee house.

And when it's time to relax and refuel, we'll gather for a delicious lunch in their beautiful log cabin.

Our journey then takes us to East Terrace Historical Home, a remarkable Waco treasure built in 1872. Overlooking the Brazos River and the historic Waco Suspension Bridge, this magnificent historical home offers a fascinating glimpse into the grandeur and gracious living of another era.

During our private tour, you’ll discover original objects, beautiful architectural details, and stories that bring the home—and the families who lived there—to life. We’ll also explore the impressive entertainment wing, including the beautiful ballroom where lavish parties and grand events once took place.
